Yes, in spite of my love hate relationship with lists, I found the posting on the Yahoo! website listing where jobs can be found fairly interesting. So I had to share.

First is the government. A lot of the jobs will be political appointees but it also includes things like census work for the 2010 census. 

Then there is a company I’ve never heard of but actually has two stores in our area. H & M, located in Beachwood Mall and Crocker Park, is a Swedish based company planning on opening over 200 more stores this year, including more in the United States. Here is a link to a page on the H & M site  that talks about their mission statement for employee/company relations. 

The rest of the list matches what I have been finding when I check out Career Board’s postings. There are on going jobs to be had in health care, IT, environmental companies and bio tech firms.

What else showed up on Career Board today? Under administrative and data entry their were 48 listings, 22 education-related jobs, and since we are known for our engineering training, six civil engineer positions. Five were with a company called Integrity Technical Services Inc. and the jobs were here and in Akron and in Youngstown. There was also a civil engineering position listed with The City of Cleveland.
