The State of Ohio legislated last year that a certain percentage of First Energy’s power has to come from renewable energy. It’s taken time but now the first solar plant to meet that goal is ready to go under construction in Upper Sandusky. This first effort is expected to take 13 months to complete and then will provide power to 6,000 homes. Now I admit to being unclear what that means. The equivalent of power to 6k homes? Or total power? Things will be revealed I’m sure, and like I’ve said before, still getting used to the lingo. Anyway, you can read about it in The Dayton Daily News here. Peace Out – 3C
