Twinsburg Ohio – Housing Stats Part Four

May 4th, 2008 · 1 Comment

My forsythia, taken by carole cohenTwinsburg is about halfway between Akron and Cleveland. They boast over 1900 acres of parkland. I decided to do stats for Twinsburg and Twinsburg Township since, unlike many of the other communities I examine, there aren’t AS many homes going through the mix of listing and selling. These homes include single family and condominiums and were listed with area brokerages.

Twinsburg:

There are 168 homes listed for sale as of today. They range from a 1,112 sq. ft. home on Rugby for $27,900 to a $699,900 listing for an historic colonial (built in 1900) on Liberty.

There are 13 homes awaiting loan and inspection contingencies. There are 37 homes pending, or waiting for titles to transfer. That means there are 50 homes under contract at the moment.

There were 59 homes sold since January 1, 2008 (14 of them sold since April 1st).  The priciest home to sell was a 3,898 sq. ft home built in 2000 for $418,000. The least pricey was a $72,000 single family home on Dooridge. The average sale price for these 59 homes was $212,503 and they were on the market an average of 115 days.

Thanks Carole – an old friend of mine from the HBA use to live in Twinsburg. She had a really pretty Whitlatch (sp) built home. Doesn’t seem like Twinsburg was hit as hard as other areas. Thanks Carole!
