My friend since five (who currently writes under the nom de plume Casey Daniels) has found a terrific brainstorming group. As she described it to me this week, every time she goes (and they do it, I believe, twice a year) she winds up with a book outline. It’s only a handful of writers, but they seem to work well together. I imagine egos getting parked and just letting the ideas flow. Knowing ‘Casey,’ she would be instrumental in promoting this atmosphere. You can read her latest blog post about her trip last week to Sarasota to brainstorm.
I ditto everything she says to me about it. I have recently been enjoying brainstorming with a newer Friend who enjoys ideas as much as I do. And we both have had the pleasure of doing it once in a while with some community minded people here in the last few weeks. It makes life rich and full!
