Summer Job Opportunities in NE Ohio

April 1st, 2009 · No Comments

Just some job related information that might be really helpful to you or to someone you know. Three different opportunities.  If you are (or are the parent of) a high school student the WIRE NET program sounds wonderful. So check out the info below!

WIRE-Net Summer AIM (Accelerated Introducation to Manufacturing) camp has limited space and is currently accepting applications for youth who want to learn about cool technologies and careers and have a chance to earn a $500 stipend.

Want to hire some teens this summer?  There are easy opportunities to have youth work at your non-profit or business without having to recruit or hire them yourselves, if you’d rather leave that to someone else.  Using Youth Opportuniites Unlimited (YOU), is like having your own human resources department to screen future employees to your criteria and even send them to “boot camp” before they start working at your site.  Contact Craig Dorn at cdorn@youthopportunities.org to inquire about hiring youth.

If you’re a young person looking to be in the running for a variety of summer employment opportunities, look for applications to be available  though Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU) at a downtown site on a Saturday soon.  It’s first come, first serve, and the competition is fierce for over 1000 jobs in Cleveland, so keep posted to their website and check here for more details.

Peace Out – 3C
