I’m more stressed out now than I have been in twenty years, so yes, I can understand anyone ranking Cleveland high on a stress level test. Based on Portfolio.com’s criteria, I’m scratching my head as to how Cleveland came in third highest on stressful city list. Based on personal finances and the job situation? Ok. Crime? Maybe stats don’t lie, I don’t know. Do you worry about crime here? I know I do not. Pollution and traffic? Seriously? We have no traffic. How can a city losing population, allegedly in leaps and bounds, have a serious traffic issue? The measurement for traffic I know is how long you sit in your car in a stopped position on a regular basis at intersections that might be at gridlock (you sit for more than one light). Rush hour in places like NYC and Washington DC and Atlanta go on just about all day. Are they crazy? They say more people die here from heart disease than most other places. Obesity translates into stress? Maybe physical stress. Murders? Did they check Baltimore and Philly? Housing costs? OMG we are listed as one of the most affordable cities for housing.
Anyway, you can click on the link above and decide for yourself. Peace Out – 3C

Wow, I didn’t realize robberies were such a problem in Cleveland. I guess I feel safe where I live, but downtown must be pretty bad.
I can see why Cleveland is high on the list though because they list jobs, growth, and poverty as factors, all of which would put Cleveland in a bad spot. Not to mention sunshine. Geez, now that I think about it why am I living here?!?!
