I receive quite a few calls from people who are either stuck with an inherited home, or just can’t pay on their mortgage anymore. And they want to know about the Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure option. Fannie Mae is now offering three ways to stay in the house while this is all getting sorted out, including 3 mos w/o paying any rent or mortgage payments.
