Need a Job?

October 7th, 2009 · No Comments

Trying to figure out what career path to take to try to affect some sort of good job availability?  Need a full time job while you go to school?  CareerBoard is local and successful and lists tons of jobs every day. I usually focus on Engineering jobs, because that is such a good path to take if you are plotting a career.  This time I’m looking at a cross section of other jobs/careers. There were many other fields I did not search, but I picked about ten areas and got 249 available jobs.  If you click on the above link, you can see them all.

Do you have 3-5 years of customer service experience? Long time NE Ohio company Tinnerman is located in Brunswick and they need a customer order coordinator.  If you have good experience, it sounds like you don’t even need a college degree.

K & D is looking for someone to handle apartment leasing in Euclid.  I include this one because positions in this field, full and part time, seem to always be available.  This one seems to require at least 2 yrs experience, but many of them do not. There are a gazillion ( yes that many) apartment buildings and at least half a gazillion management companies so this could be a stable field as well.

Midwest Realty Advisors LLC is looking for a concierge for a commercial building in Downtown Cleveland.  Concierge, hospitality, all areas advertising jobs weekly.  This one says entry level so you could get a good start on this career.  You can find the details here.

We have good colleges in NE Ohio and an abundance of them.  Working within their system in an administrative capacity can be a great career. Usually, you can take classes (for free?) and give yourself the education to move up or into other areas within these schools.  Once you get in and get a job and prove yourself.  TRI C Downtown is advertising an administrative coordinator.  Check it out. Salary listed is in the range of $40k to $50k.  As I said, this is a great career to consider.

Integrity Technical Services has a boat load of jobs listed.  Here is their company profile.  The jobs are all over NE Ohio.

CareerBoard also has a large section of their website dedicated to those looking for jobs.  Posting your resume, building a skills profile.  All things that would get displayed on their site and allow employers to look for you as well. You can scroll down on their site in the left side bar to explore all of these possibilities, and you can start on this page detailing how to do a  skills profile.
