My Dad was a proud member of the UAW local 1250.  Most of the time.  He said in later years that too much emphasis was put on monetary issues when so much more was important.  This latest Schoenberger  article in The Plain Dealer speaks to the issue in the last post I did, about jobs for factory workers.  Apparently there is a new engine to be built here, IF 1250 accepts the contract terms.  That would make these auto workers green collar Peace Out – 3C
