And no, I am not talking about the Rock Hall inductions which certainly created some wonderful exposure for Cleveland. I ran across an article from the Toledo Free Press, written by Michael MIller. Miller apparently was born here but hasn’t returned for some time. Here is his article. It made me smile!
You can see how glowing he was about the Waterloo lakeshore district in Cleveland. The arts district is vibrant there. If you’ve read my posts you know how much I love that area of Cleveland. Active beaches, cool homes with the architecture we have grown to identify with NE Ohio. Great food and an historic shopping district that is also thriving. Not to mention the Beachland!
My hat is off to Michael MIller of the Toledo Free Press. You know how we keep seeing stories showing why NE Ohioans should consider modeling ourselves after places like Pittsburgh? While that might be true, it’s so cool to read an article that ends with Miller saying he hopes Toledo uses some of Cleveland’s ideas as a model. Peace Out – 3C
