I am enamored with all the energy and development happening in Wade Park, Fairfax, Little Italy, etc. This PD article on the Wade Park Skating Rink opening at the beginning of December is one more thing to be enthused about. I included the photo from the PD. (It’s courtesy of University Circle Inc).Tell me it’s not a great setting for a rink! I have more to post about regarding things happening within a five mile radius of that area – it’s just terrific to see areas of the City that always seemed like they should be ‘happening’ making such progress.
People used to skate in the reflecting pool in University Circle. However, this is the 21st Century version: it’s fake ice! Check out the article, good stuff.
