I’ve sent a few emails, letters (and made phone calls) to Senator Voinovich over past few months and am still not pleased at all with his lack of understanding as to how important some of the transportation bills he’s voted against truly are to our economy. Somehow I must have signed up for his newsletter on one of my jaunts to his website. Not such a bad thing I guess.
He has a copy of a letter he wrote to Secretary Paulson yesterday. I’m linking it here because it details monies given to banks in our area from the Bailout. (So far) It also deals with Rep. Steve LaTourette’s charge that there be an investigation into why PNC received bailout monies over and above the % they should have - to purchase National City. I thought it was good reading (there IS going to be an investigation by Congress on this issue). Peace Out- 3C
