Cuyahoga County Home Sales - Yeah They Are Still Selling

These are statistics published by our Multiple Listing Service (MLS) for single family home sales, through all area brokerages. First up is Cuyahoga County during October 2007. Yes the whole County.

There were 3,000 new listings in October. The number of homes that ‘went pending’ or are waiting to close is 1,155 homes. There were 893 homes sold/transferred title during October. The Average Ask Price was $173,190. The Average Sale Price was $156,579.  How much of a seller’s asking price were they getting in October? 91.40 %.  Homes in Cuyahoga County were on the market an average of 99 days.

 How about year-to-date?

10,652  Single Family homes sold since January 2007. The Average Sale Price was $184,250. 2007 sellers have been (averaging) getting about 92.54% of their asking price.

2006 year-to-date comparison?

11,807 Single Family Homes Sold in 2006 through end of October.  The Average Sale Price was $189,273. Sellers were getting about 95.5% of their asking price.
