Home Sale Stats For Zipcodes 44113 and 44109

October 10th, 2007 · No Comments

Pretty W. 22nd Street HomeI have had quite a few buyers in the last two months, that is the good news. The less good news for me is that none of them wanted to buy any of the homes I have listed — for that matter, I have only had calls on my listing in Millcreek over the last month.  I am seeing, more and more, buyers being very specific about where they want to live.  At any rate, here are the stats on homes for neighborhoods like Old Brooklyn, Ohio City and Tremont.  These figures reflect sales through area brokerages. They cover the time period from September 1st until October 10, 2007.

 Zip Code 44113:

Six Single Family Homes Sold. Two went under contract; 15 are waiting to close and transfer Title.

There were Nine Condos sold; and 28 homes are waiting to close and transfer Title. There are 100 Single Family Homes for sale and coincidentally, 100 condos for sale.

Average statistics on the six sold SF homes: 1,279 square feet, 3BRs, 1BA and a 1 Car Garage, an average of 37 days on the market, and the average sale price was $32,750.

Zip Code 44109

Twenty Single Family Homes Sold; Three went under contract; Twenty-five are waiting to close and transfer Title. There is One condo waiting to transfer Title.

There are 222 Single Family homes for sale in this zip code and 9 condos. The average sales statistics for this area during this period are: 1,243 square feet of living space, 3BRs, 1BA and a 2 Car Garage; these homes were on the market an average of 87 days and the average sale price was $84,531.

If you are interested in buying, you can see the prices are still very good. The 30 fixed rate for mortgages was 6.3% at the beginning of the day.

Pictured above: a home near parks, the zoo, all the major highway accesses and shopping. It’s very affordable, has a terrific yard and lots of storage. And as you can tell from the photo, a serene front porch!  Peace Out – 3C

Thank you Thesa; as a matter of fact I just learned from Linda Davis about vertical and horizontal spacing on the photo editing part so I made it look a bit more readable. There seems to be something to learn every day and I admit I do like that. Thank you!
