Jill has to stop giving me homework, I say! Seriously, in one of her posts today she mentions this as an official day to find blogs you wish others were reading. Check out her WLST post for her list.
I browse the ethernet for blogs of interest on a regular basis. Sometimes it makes me sad that people start a really interesting blog (to me anyway!) and then it turns out the last post was over a year ago.
No matter, I have two blogs to recommend here and there is no lack of information on both of them.
The first is local, Trula Breckenridge. Trula is someone I have met on Twitter! I find her inspiring. She sets goals, is training for a marathon, she has a fitness blog, in fact she could keep you reading all day long. Definitely a ‘the glass is half full’ person – I heard her say on Twitter that she is planning on building an environmentally friendly home with her hubby and when I asked her she said yes she will have a blog about it. I can’t wait for that! In the meantime, here is a link to her goals blog. And here is a link to her fitness blog.
Next up is a small development company in Philadelphia. Their goal? To build an environmentally friendly home from the ground up, for 100k or less. Thus the title of the blog: 100khouse.com. Some people are good at explaining what they are doing along the way and some are not. These guys (or gals !) are walking us through the process and posting about every aspect of the development as they go. I find it fascinating, I hope you enjoy it too! Peace Out – 3C
Sunday Update: I HAVE to add an individual blog post to this, written by Gene Petro. Gene lives in Chicago but more importantly, he writes better than most people. He did a fascinating post on levitating, yoga and an IRS audit. It’s wonderful and I’m smiling as I talk about it now. You can read Taxes Schmaxes here. His ‘real’ blog has wonderful posts, short stories at times, that I find myself reading more than once. He’s added to my blog roll but here is a link to Chicago’s Home Weblog. You can be tempted to read on a regular basis.
Maybe I will just continue on with this post and the one on reducing the size of Cleveland Council and they will become my version of War and Peace.

Thanks for doing this, Carole. The ones I wish I’d also mentioned are yours, Really Bad Cleveland Accent and Foreclosing Cleveland. And I’m sure there are even MORE.

I read Christine all the time so it never ocurred to me that she should be on a list like this! I think I might make it a monthly goal to find two to feature. I can handle that and it would be a good way to meet new bloggers.

It is great that people are able to receive the business loans moreover, this opens up completely new opportunities.
