Did you know the East Wing of the Art Museum had a face lift? You can visit it today and enjoy the weather on the grounds at the Cleveland Museum of Art Chalk Festival. This is the Festival’s 20th year. There is a fee if you want to explore your creative side and do your own chalk drawings, or you can just enjoy music and watch chalk artists do their own creative expression. Enjoy it all today from 12-5 pm.
Maybe you’d like to do a different kind of festival. How about the Willoughby Hills Cornfest? Check out the details hereon the PluggedInCleveland website. You could actually go there after the Chalk Festival because it’s hours go until 7 PM.
I’m intrigued with this next event for two reasons. First, it’s held at Penitentiary Glen Reservation in Concord Twp. (How cool a name is that). What is it? Annual Bug Day. If you have kids, this has to be the coolest thing to do. Okay, even if you don’t have kids and just like bugs, I know there are a few of you out there! You can read about Bug Day on the Lake Metro Parks web site. They promise live bugs ! Your kid can earn a bugology degree, and how could you not want to go with a promo starting creatively like this:
